March is recognized by the Military Health System as Brain Injury Awareness Month.
Brain injuries can lead to Traumatic Brain Injuries -- "Be TBI Ready."

During Brain Injury Awareness Month, Arts & Crafts will facilitate the creation of a Brain Injury Awareness Community Art Project.  Patrons will decorate butterfly cutouts either at one of our in-person events or at home.  The decorated butterflies will become part of a larger artwork which will be displayed at the Robert F. Sink Memorial Library upon completion.

*Why a butterfly?
The life of a butterfly symbolizes the life of an individual with a brain injury.
