Item Description
No need for classified ads or parking your vehicle in the front yard with a for sale sign in the window. No need to have strangers wandering around your house or you having to wander around theirs.
First, and foremost, the U-Buy/U-Sell service lot is located directly behind the Air Assault Auto facility on Airborne Street making it easy for people to find, and easy for staff to make daily inspections of the lot. Unlike other locations one might try to show a vehicle, you have the choice of two lots. One lot that is secured on all sides by a perimeter fence and lit with flood lights after dark and includes two gates - a walk through gate that is available at any time and a drive through gate that is available only during regular hours of operation. The other lot is also lit with flood lights after dark but is not fenced in so your vehicle can be removed whenever you need it.
These features help minimize the risk of damage that could be done to a vehicle as it sits and waits to be sold, helping give peace of mind to those trying to sell their POVs.
The cost to have your item in the lot is $25 per month for items under 20 foot and $45 per month for items 20 foot and over. We will also post a picture of your vehicle on the Fort Campbell MWR web site to give customers and the community the added convenience of viewing all vehicles for sale online, at any time.
Along with POV’s, the lot is also open to the sale of boats, campers, trailers, and motorcycles. Vehicles can be placed and/or removed during regular business hours from the lot during the month, as the space that’s rented will be held.
The only requirements needed to use this service is a DoD ID card, state registration, proof of insurance, and the vehicle must be in operable condition and meet environmental requirements at the time it’s brought in.
