ODR Mountain Biking Trip to Chattahoochee National Forest
Enjoy a relaxing weekend in the mountains!

Friday- April 13- Leave Adventure Programs Office at 4pm and travel to Jones Creek Campground (a free forest service campground in the Chattahoochee National Forest) (5 ½ hour drive). (Participants are responsible for their own food during travel days)
Saturday- April 14- Head 5.4 miles to Jake Mountain Trail Head- Do the Jake Mountain Trail. (It is an intermediate trail with options to bail onto old forest service roads, or onto easier trails after mile 3.) Take the Jake Mountain Trail to Eight Gaps Trailhead. Hopping on the Eight Gaps Trail (Easy/Moderate) and taking that to the Bull Mountain Connector which returns to the parking lot.
Sunday- The group decides on a short/easy ride for this morning, before heading back to Clarksville. We will try to be back to post around 6pm.
Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
We have limited camping equipment available on a first come first served basis.
Participants are encouraged to bring camping equipment if they have it.
Participants are welcome to bring their own bikes and helmets if they want to.
Cost
$125
Includes transportation, meals for Saturday, breakfast on Sunday, mountain bikes and helmets.
