Raft the Gauley with ODR Adventure Programs - Fee

You will leave from the Adventure Programs office on September 23 at 8:30am and stop for lunch (you purchase) in Lexington , KY.
The evening will be spent camping at New and Gauley Rafting Adventure.

The morning of the 24th - you'll hit the river.

The Upper Gauley River is world-class whitewater rafting at its finest.
Your Class V+ adventure will begin at the base of Summersville Dam.
It is here where you will witness the release of hydro-electric water transforming the Gauley from a trickling creek to a ragins Class V+ river.
You will navigate through five Class V+ rapids:  Insignificant, Pillow Rock, Lost Paddle, Iron Ring and Sweet Falls (a 12' waterfall).

Previous rafting experience is recommended and good physical condition is highly recommended.

Minimum age is 16.

After rafting, you will jump in the vans and head to Tamarack for lunch and more fun on your way back to Fort Campbell.

Adventure Programs camping equipment is first come first served.  Please feel free to bring your own tents and equipment or rent them from Gear To Go (tents are $18 for Saturday to Monday).

Food is on your own.
