David Sears discusses At War With the Wind: The Epic Struggle with Japan’s World War II Suicide Bombers.
Drawn from hundreds of interviews with World War II Veterans who survived Japan’s Kamikaze strikes, Sears catpures the real-life drama associated with America’s first confrontation with suicide warfare. Sears is an author, speaker and historian.
He served in the U.S. Navy and was an advisor to the Vietnamese Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. His other books include Such Men as These: The Story of NavyPilots Who Flew the Deadly Skies Over Korea.
