Whitewater Raft the Upper Gauley River with ODR

The Upper Gauley River is world-class whitewater rafting at its finest.

Your Class V+ adventure will begin at the base of Summersville Dam.  It is here where you will witness the release of the hydro-electric water transforming the Gauley from a trickling creek to a raging Class V+ River.  You will navigate through five Class V+ rapids, called - Insignificant, Pillow Rock, Lost Paddle, Iron Ring, and Sweets Fall (a 12' waterfall).

We will leave on 21 Sep at 12pm and return on 23 Sep at 5pm.

Previous rafting experience is recommended and good physical condition is hightly recommended.

Mininum age requirement is 16 years old.
Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

We provide all equipment and transportation.

Patrons are responsible for food expenses.

A signed Outdoor Recreation waiver is required to participate.
