Celebrate the Month of the Military Child (MOMC) with us! Throughout April, we're honoring the resilience, sacrifices, and unique experiences of military children and their families. It's a time to recognize and appreciate the strength and adaptability that these young heroes demonstrate every day.

Get ready to celebrate with a jam-packed schedule of exciting activities and events! Throughout the month, we're rolling out the red carpet for military children and their families with a wide range of fun-filled festivities.

• 👕 MOMC T-Shirt Sales:
  Show your support for military children by rocking a MOMC t-shirt, MOMC T-Shirts are available to purchase now! All orders placed AFTER March 24th aren't guaranteed to arrive by April 15th for the April 26th Kids Fest.

• 🌈 5K/1 Mile MOMC Color Run:
  Join us at Shaw PFC for a vibrant celebration of our military children at the Month of the Military Child Color Run 5K/1M event! This family-friendly affair promises fun for everyone, from furry friends to little ones in strollers.

• 💜 Purple Up Day:
  The color purple was chosen and symbolizes all branches of the military, it is a combination of Army green, Marine Corps scarlet, and Coast Guard, Air Force, and Navy blue. Wearing the color purple is a visible way to show support and thank military youth for their courage and sacrifices. 

• 🎉 KidsFest:
  Let the kids run wild and have a blast at our KidsFest event, featuring games, activities, and entertainment for all ages.

• 📢 Operation Megaphone:  
  Calling all middle and high school students registered with CYS in grades 6th through 12th! Join us at the Bastogne Teen Center for an exciting night of fun during the Worldwide Virtual Military Teen Summit lock-in. Don't miss out on this unforgettable event! Activities will include sports, Nerf wars, dance party, game tournaments, arts and crafts and more! Dinner, snacks and breakfast will be provided. 

• 🎈 CYS Facility Events:
  Our Child and Youth Services facilities are hosting a variety of special events and activities to honor military children.
