Deployment Support Services helps Families cope with mission related child care needs before, during, and after deployments. Eligible parents receive 16 hours of respite care during specified periods of deployment cycles in accordance with current policy guidance. Eligible parents receive a 20 percent deployment reduction for regularly scheduled child care. Parents can apply for Deployment Support Benefits by taking a copy of their deployment orders to the Parent Central Services Office, or their Child’s program.
