- Philosophy Statement
Army Child & Youth Services (CYS) recognizes the responsibility of assisting the Command in maintaining mission readiness. We believe the individual child/youth is uniquely recognized and respected. We meet the individual needs of children/youth and their Families though appropriate childcare enrichment activities. We nurture and provide love, trust and security in a healthy, positive and safe environment. Our focus is to enhance children's emotional, social, physical, intellectual and creative developmental needs. Through real experiences, the child/youth develops self control, independence, core values and is introduced to different cultures of the world. Strengthened by our training, we take the extra step to provide opportunities to master new skills through bonding, role modeling and forming relationships with children/youth and Families.

Reservations may be made in person, by phone and also online once you get a username and password from Parent Central Services. Reservations may be made up to three weeks in advance, but are not to exceed 20 hours in any one week. If reservations must be cancelled, please call no later than 8am the day of the reservation or cancel online prior to the day of the reservation. In an effort to provide quality service to all of our patrons, some polices must be enforced. Payment for services must be paid for when you pick up your child(ren). Snacks will be provided at scheduled times. A one hour minimum reservation is required. In order to provide support for all reservations, children must be picked up promptly. If you are running late for you pick up time or you wish to extend your time, please call the center to ensure space is available for your child to remain at the center. Late pick up fee: Family fee of $1 per minute; $15 maximum, then $ 5 for next 45 minutes. If Family has children at different sites, late pick-up fees are assessed per site.
The Hourly Care Program is designed as a short term child care option for parents with children between 6 weeks of age to Kindergarten. It has been specifically tailored to meet the needs of those who require care for times when they are volunteering, in-processing, assuming respite care duties or having a doctor’s appointment. The program is also designed to give children the opportunity to socialize and interact with other children in their age group.
Hourly Care is currently provided by our Family Child Care (FCC) Program.
Please contact Parent Central Services for a list of FCC providers that offer hourly care.
You can ask your neighbor for help as long as childcare doesn't exceed 10 hours a week.
