Fort Campbell Outdoor Recreation Facilities & Programs

  • Adventure Programs
    We offer some great adventure trips throughout the year such as skiing, white water rafting, hiking, climbing, and Family trips. We are also available by reservation for private trips and programming, Organizational Days, Unit Events, Spouse Groups, Church Events, Clubs, and Private Organizations. 

  • Paintball
    We hold Open Play for age 12 and over on Saturdays from 9am to 3pm (subject to change based on weather).  We are also available for units to simulate the battlefield experience on Outdoor Recreation’s Paintball field. Take your troops out for the unique, hands-on learning experience of moving under direct fire, quick decision making, and forming field combat strategy or just come out to have good time.  Call for Rates: Field fees, air, rentals, and cost of paintballs can vary. 

  • Skeet & Archery Ranges
    Learn to shoot Trap, Skeet, or 5 Stand OR use one of our six archery lanes to perfect your aim. Have fun challenging a friend. Range is open to Active Duty, Retirees, DOD Card Holders, and Civilians. Any shooters 17 years and under must have parent/guardian present to shoot. Shotguns are available to rent; shells, snacks, and drinks available for purchase.

  • Indoor Climbing Wall
    ODRs Indoor Climbing Wall, located outside Gate 10, is open for you to learn how to rock climb or to improve your skills.  Climbing programs are available for beginners to experienced climbers (ages 5 and up).  We provide the equipment, instruction, and motivation regardless of your climbing experience.  Join us for Open Climb on Fridays from 3pm to 8pm.

  • Privately Owned Firearms Range
    Open on Saturdays & Sundays from 9am to 3pm.  The POF Range offers a variety of services such as weapon & steel rentals, ammunition sales, targets, and drinks. We are open to Active Duty, Retirees, DOD Card Holders, and Civilians. Ages 9 & up.
    All privately owned weapons must be registered with the DES, Visitor Control Center at Gate 4. Please address all questions regarding weapon registration to that office +1 (270)798-5047.

  • Gear To Go
    Gear To Go is a premier facility for leisure time, moving, and party rentals. You won’t believe all the equipment we have – boats, campers, pick-up trucks, 15 passenger vans, SUVs; cargo trailers and trucks, motorcycle trailers, ice trailers, riding mowers, lawn & garden equipment, inflatables, tents, tables & chairs, and the list goes on.

  • Challenge Course Complex
    The Odyssey: Is our largest structure at 50 feet high and 360 feet long. Includes cargo nets, zip lines, a broken bridge, and cables suspended in mid-air. Individuals have the opportunity to work in teams to traverse from one side to the other. For ages 12 and up.
    The Carolina T-Wall: Sitting just shy of 50 feet tall, has eight different faces simulating a realistic style of rock climbing. For ages 5 and up.
    The Alpine Tower: Shaped like an hour glass, this 50 foot high obstacle course is the ideal adult jungle gym. Participants work in teams or as individuals to ascend the many cargo nets, ropes, poles, and hanging ladders. For ages 5 and up.
    The Team Development Course: The low ropes course includes a wide variety of ground-based activities that focus on group dynamics. Teams of 8-12 participants must navigate through multiple puzzles and problem solving tasks.

  • Warrior Adventure Quest
    Warrior Adventure Quest (WAQ) is an Army RESET training tool designed to introduce Soldiers to activities that serve as alternatives to aberrant behaviors often associated with accidents involving recently re-deployed Soldiers. Funding is available once per deployment or once every two years. WAQ combines existing MWR Outdoor Recreation high adventure activities with a leader-led after action debriefing (L-LAAD) tool. On post activities include: challenge course, indoor climbing wall, skeet, paintball, mountain biking, paddling, and archery tag. Off post activities are available as well.   • RV Parks, Cabins & Pavilions
    RV Parks: Eagles Rest RV Park has mostly back-in sites, all are unpaved and offer more shaded areas. Fletcher’s Fork RV Park has all paved, pull thru sites. Both RV parks have electric, water and sewer. Each area has a bathhouse and in Eagles Rest RV Park, there is a laundry facility.
    Cabins: Include four rustic, three deluxe, and four luxury cabins. For all cabins you will need to bring your own linens and utensils. Cabins are only available to Military or DoD ID cardholders. 
    Pavilions: Outdoor Recreation has a total of three pavilions for rent: Eagles Rest (outdoor), Wohali (indoor), and Little Eagle (indoor). These pavilions vary in size and will accommodate different group or unit functions. Rates vary for each pavilion; All pavilions require a cleaning deposit with reservation.

  • Dog Kennels
    We offer climate-controlled kennels for long and short term stays on a first come first serve basis. Reservations will be accepted once all immunization records have been received. Payments are due at time of reservation. 

  • Doggie Daycare
    Let MWR Dog Kennels pamper your furry friend for a day!
    We have Doggie Daycare on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
    Choose a full day or half day.
    We hand walk them, play in the grass with them, make sure they have a cot to lounge on between play times, give medication as needed and supplied by the owner and of course we make sure they have plenty of food and water.  They can even play with their favorite toys if they brought them!

  • Hunting and Fishing with Fort Campbell Fish and Wildlife (DPW)

    The hunting and fishing programs on Fort Campbell are administered by Fort Campbell Fish and Wildlife (not MWR) in the Directorate of Public Works (DPW).
