Fort Campbell Soldiers & Family Newcomers' Orientation:

The “Soldier & Family Newcomers’ Orientation” is an interactive Family Orientation to welcome and inform arriving Soldiers and Family Members about resources available at Fort Campbell.

The Newcomers Orientation is held every Thursday at the Army Community Service (ACS) building from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. The Orientation is mandatory for all Soldiers arriving to Fort Campbell and Family Members are strongly encouraged to attend. Lunch is included.

Representatives from several agencies are present to provide important information for “Newcomers.” Agencies include:

  • Army Community Service (ACS)

  • Fort Campbell Spouse Employment Center

  • Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR)

  • Chaplains

  • American Red Cross

  • Family Housing On/Off Post

  • School Liaison Officers

  • Child & Youth Services

  • Medical and Dental

Start Strong at Your New Duty Station

When you arrive at a new installation, everything can feel unfamiliar – new streets, new buildings, new rules. The Newcomer Orientation helps you get settled, learn how things work, and feel at home faster.

Newcomer Orientation Meeting

It’s a great way to:

  • Learn about base services, programs, and policies
  • Get tips about schools, housing, and child care
  • Meet other newcomers and ask questions
  • Hear from key community leaders and organizations

If you miss an orientation or arrive between scheduled dates, ACS can still give you a welcome packet and answer your questions one-on-one.

Check out the ACS calendar for dates, times, and registration information.
