Helping You Settle In While You Wait for Your Belongings
When you move to a new duty station, your household goods might take time to arrive. That’s why we have a Lending Closet at your local ACS. You can borrow basic kitchen, bedroom, or to help you get through those first days in your new home.
These items are free to borrow. You just need your military ID and a copy of your PCS orders. The Lending Closet is open to Soldiers, Families, and DoD Civilians.
Available Items:
- Pots, pans, baking dishes, crockpots, cookie sheet, and more baking/cooking items!
- Dishes and silverware
- Coffee makers and toasters
- Irons, ironing boards and vacuums
- Folding tables and chairs
Lending Rules:
- The ACS Lending Closet lends basic household items to those individuals transitioning to Fort Campbell.
- When departing from Fort Campbell, individuals must return items signed out prior to clearing ACS.
- Items cannot be issued to those individuals who have already cleared ACS.
- Military ID and PCS Orders are required.
- Email us to request an appointment.
Return Requirements:
- All items must be returned cleaned and sanitized to the ACS Lending Closet. Items that are not clean, will NOT BE accepted. Call to schedule an appointment for returns.
Extensions:
- Loans are for 30 days. Extensions may be given for up to 60 and 90 days.
